CBP Posts Form 7501 FAQs

US importers are required to begin using a new version of CBP Form 7501, Entry Summary by April 1, 2010.
To help prepare importers in using this new form, CBP has put together a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document regarding the new 7501. These FAQs cover topics such as:
- How many copies of the CBP Form 7501 must I provide when I file my entry summary?
- Am I required to input charges on every entry summary line, regardless of value?
- Does CBP require a specific type of paper on which the CBP Form 7501 should be printed (e.g., tractor-feed paper, laser paper, carbon copies, etc.) Do I need special approval to use a laser printed CBP Form 7501?
