US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) issued a CSMS message #12-000490 announcing that the system changes associated with the Panama Trade Promotion Agreement (TPA) have been automated, and the trade is now able to file Panama TPA claims electronically in both Automated Commercial System – ACS (EI transaction code) and in Automated Commercial Environment – ACE (AE transaction code)
The tariff changes associated with the Panama TPA are scheduled to be posted in the next tariff update, which are planned to take place on November 6 or 7, 2012.
