US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has decided to delay the launch of the Test Concerning Manifesting and Entry of Residue found in Instruments of International Traffic (ITTs). After further consultation with the international trade community, CBP has determined that it will address concerns related to the matter and work to set a future test date.
According to the message released by CBP, the test was originally set to launch on November 25, 2013, 90 days after its announcement in the Federal Register Notice (FR Doc. 2013-20878). CBP will work to address remaining trade concerns related to this matter and announce a future test date after further consultation with the trade community.
